Numbers 25:10-30:1

Shalom Aleichem,

We commence this D’var Torah be focusing our attention on the name of the Parashat. The name of the Parashat is PINCHAS. PINCHAS is the son of Elazar the Kohen, who was the son of the High Priest Aharon. This sidrah reveals to us SUPERNAL INSTRUCTIONS on how to take upon a ZEAL in our staying on the PATH OF LIFE. The PATH OF LIFE can be obtained through what is termed the CORRECTION. B’nai Yisrael had partook in harlotry with Moab in the previous portion and there was SUPERNAL WRATH that came upon the nation, “Those who died in the plague were twenty-four thousand.”Numbers.25:9 From the perspective of MISHKHAN DAVID this is indicative of SPIRITUAL HARLOTRY or UNCOVERING. To build relationships with one another there has to be a relationship established where the THOUGHT & ACTION is, “you shall love your fellow as yourself…” Deut.19:18. The way this SUPERNAL LOVE is done is through acts of SELFLESSNESS. To enter into PURE SOUL CONSCIOUSNESS or the WHOLE OF REALITY a community (such as the Jewish community) needs to come into a COLLECTIVE CONSCIOUSNESS.  When we consider the Children of Israel and their dwelling in the Wilderness when we came out of Egypt, that whole journey was for them to BUILD CONNECTIONS with one another as well as to OVERCOME CHALLENGES together. When Torah speaks of something that seems harsh in the BRANCH LANGUAGE such as, “ Phinehas son of Elazar son of Aaron the Kohen saw, and he stood up from amid the assembly and took a spear in his hand. He followed the Israelite man into the tent and pierced them both, the Israelite man and the woman into her stomach – and the plague was halted from upon the Children of Israel….,” there is a totally different and HIGHER INTERPRETATION of these same verses in the ROOT LANGUAGE or the ORAL INTERPRETATION of what is written. Phinehas becomes more of a REPRESENTATION of a quality that one must have in order to effect the SPIRITUAL ATTAINMENTS in the Ascension. In the Ascension there are different thoughts that have to be pursued and TRANSFORMED in the desire to be one with the CREATOR. The ZEAL or quality will eradicate those opposing ideas that will cause for a descending state (plague) to take place. When these corrections are made then comes the BRIT SHALOM (Covenant of Peace).  One of the feelings that comes with this covenant is SUPERNAL PEACE. The prophet Isaiah spoke of this feeling once obtained, “For thus said my Lord HASHEM/ELOHIM, the Holy One of Israel: ‘In stillness and will you be saved, in quiet and in confidence will be your might…,”30:15. It is important to note that the nations in the Torah represent the points in the heart or the different thought constructs that arise on the inside of our minds that we need to correct. The Torah is a book of STORIES & PARABLES that illustrates what goes on in the inside of each and every one of us that make up the human conscious experience or humanity. The Jewish people are the ones to take hold of Torah and MAXIMIZE OUR POTENTIAL with it from the HIGHER LEVELS OF CONSCIOUSNESS.  We are used in this purpose to be examples to the other nations, “And I will make of you a great nation; I will bless you, and make your name great, and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and him who curses you I will curse; and all the families of the earth shall bless themselves by you. This is indicative of what the Jew is and will be to the world. The Jew who has the revelation that they are ONE WITH G-D and pursues a lifestyle that actualize that same revelation is destined to put on PHYSICAL IMMORTALITY and undergo REGENERATION. Physical Immortality is described as a constant state of improvement or getting better. This is a process much in the same way there was a process for the first Adam (Rishon) to undergo physical death after 930 years the REGENERATIVE PROCESS will be a state where our years will extend much more than what we can imagine, but in the same process it took physical death to come about, physical immortality will be in the opposite direction unto life with the possibility of death.
